"The Comet"

silvered bronze, ca. 1925, 20" high and 24" long.

The bronze is signed "Guiraud-Riviere" and "Etling Paris".

(Etling was the publisher of many of the best sculptors of the Art Deco period.)

"The Comet" is an iconographic c. 1925 Art Deco sculpture.  Daring even for its day, it was probably only

produced in a very small edition, and rarely appears on the market.
