Sahula-Dycke (American, b. 1900)
“Peaceful Evening”, oil on canvas, signed and dated
1928, 29 1/2” x 35 1/2”. An
immigrant from Bohemia, Sahula-Dycke studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine
Art, and exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, where he won a prize in 1926. He later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he became the Art Director for an advertising agency.
